The natural water temperature, 44°C, is cooled to 37°C for your utmost enjoyment...
The Grands Bains is a 4,500m² pool and spa complex, the perfect spot for taking it easy surrounded by the mountains.
Explore two relaxing spaces harnessing the natural spring water:
- Espace Grands Bains
Indoor and outdoor pools with water currents, various massage jets, jacuzzis and a musical grotto… - Spa La Rotonde (previously Espace Romano-Irlandais)
Upstairs, in a quieter setting, take advantage of the sauna, hammam and outdoor jacuzzi while admiring the stunning mountain views.

Hiking in the Écrins National Park

Écrins National Park, 25,000-acre nature reserve, 435 miles of possible routes, 100 walks described, 35 refuges.
Maison Alliey sits on the edge of the Park and the village of Monêtier-les-Bains is a stage along the GR54 long-distance hiking trail.
Wander at your leisure through the park, observe the local wildlife and plants and tuck into a picnic beside a stream, all while staying at Maison Alliey.
Depending on the type of walk you’d like to do, we can advise and guide you: duration, elevation gain, lake or plateau...

We can also make up picnic hampers for a hassle-free outing.

CLIMBING:
Using your own gear or accompanied by a guide, set off to explore the myriad climbing routes across the Valley.
VIA FERRATA :
In the valley, why not try your hand at Via Ferrata, a rock climbing activity equipped with cables and ladders.
Locations where you can practise Via Ferrata include Aiguillette du Lauzet, not far from Maison Alliey, Croix de Toulouse in Briançon, or the Via Ferrata du Bez and du Rocher blanc in Chantemerle. Remember to come prepared.
