Maison Alliey:
a wonderful family story
Alliey is an inspiring family story which began back in 1873, with the great-grandfather Joseph Alliey. The joy the family still takes in welcoming and sharing with others remains undimmed, and they have proudly upheld these values for four generations.
Today, Maison Alliey groups together the different properties that the Alliey family have founded since 1873. After several years of renovations, the property now owned by Eliane and Hervé Buisson provides a Serviced Apartment concept, with a wine bar and spacious Pool-Hydrotherapy-Spa area.
Ever mindful of holidaymakers’ well-being, the owners have designed every detail to guarantee quality time together in the utmost comfort.
Hervé
Hervé was born down the road in Briançon and studied first in Monêtier, then in Grenoble, and finally at the Hospitality Business School in Lausanne.
After gaining extensive experience in prestigious Parisian establishments (including Grand Hôtel, Café de la paix, Hôtel Meurice and Prince de Galles), he spent some time in Dijon where his encounters with Burgundy vinegrowers gave him insight into the joys and world of wine.
He met Eliane Staub in Colmar (near Strasbourg) before returning to his native mountains.
Éliane
Alsace, the region where her love bloomed for fine things: vines and half-timbered houses with the Vosges mountains as their backdrop. Her roots are anchored in the name STAUB, known the world over as a premium brand of cast iron casserole dishes and cookware.
Driven by her inherited passion for tableware, and winner of the Villeroy & Boch competition in 1985, Éliane set off with her husband to explore the Southern French Alps and their snow-capped peaks. This is a journey that reflects her wholehearted dedication and her taste for beautiful, simple things, with her sights constantly set on new challenges.
